Here's the secret I share with only my closest thrifter friends. Sprinkle each room with one focal piece that masquerades as a designer piece, but in reality is a great buy. The Carmen Chair is one of such pieces I own that definitely qualifies as a great buy, but fudges the masquerade part, because it truly has a designer look. Only my best buddies know that it didn't cost an arm and a leg, even if it looks like it does.

As an experienced neurosurgeon, I can easily afford extrCarmen collectiongant pieces of furniture from top designers. Go figure I choose to decorate with the Carmen collection on 1StopBedroom.com. The great price is a minor detail for me. I just really think the Carmen Chair and other pieces from this collection are nicer than what I've found elsewhere.

OK, so I wasn't totally enthused about my wife's insistence to order furniture from 1StopBedroom.com that we couldn't see ahead of time until it came. That changed everything. The Carmen Chair arrived in good condition, and I changed my tune when I saw how well made it was. Very nice looking.
