With the front panel installed as one of the last steps, mounting the bed to studs in a wall becomes much easier. The wall bed is finished with an attractive crown molding, adding a touch of elegance to your room. It can accommodate a standard queen mattress up to 12" thick and weighing at least 70 lbs. The maximum dimensions of the mattress are 60" X 80". The bed does not require a box spring.

When the bed is opened, it will require a clearance of 93.4" from the wall, extending into the room. There is also a clearance of 9.5" under the bed when it is open. To install the bed and crown molding, the height of the ceiling needs to be a minimum of 91.125" and 93" respectively. Some assembly is required for the installation.

To make the wall bed even more functional, you can add the accompanying sofa. This sofa is the perfect solution for maximizing the use of a small space. During the day, you can sit comfortably on the sofa, and when it's time to rest, simply remove the cushions and fold out the wall bed. The sleeping surface fits seamlessly over the seating area and between the armrests of the sofa, providing a convenient and comfortable sleeping space.

The sofa can be used as an add-on to any of Bestar's queen wall beds or placed against a wall. Please note that it cannot be placed in the middle of a room as it does not have a backrest. You also have the option to choose between plastic or chrome legs for the sofa. The seat cushions are 7.9-inch thick, ensuring optimal comfort. Additionally, all fabrics used in the sofa have a heavy-duty backing for durability.
