Davinca Living Room Set In Charcoal
I ordered the sofa, oversized chair, accent chair and ottoman. I paid for threshold delivery, where the delivery guys carried it through the door. They dropped it off and left. No small talk. It was in several different boxes and wrapped really well. I have to say, it was packaged to where it could not be damaged. It took awhile to get all the foam, card board boxing and other packaging materials off. For that I will have to give a plus. They went way and beyond with the packaging. Luckily, my daughter and her fiance took everything out and examined, then proceeded to put together. It is a really heavy and sturdy living room suit and could not have unpacked by myself. I have received many compliments on it, even ones who say they do not like gray, they have given many, many compliments. The reason I went with gray instead of a couple of others and white ones that I really liked, is because I still have young grandkids. I wish now that I had of gotten exactly what I wanted, even though this one is very nice. My granddaughter spilled just a little bit of a red drink on the accent chair. I immediately tended to it and I had a very hard time getting it off. It wasn't that much at all. The sofa, chair and half, and accent chair are not comfortable at all. Since having this outfit, not many people have sat on it, but I can already tell when it does get wear, the cushions will stink in between the other cushions. It's already happening. My grandkids have a room with a daybed and TV they stay in there most of the time, they rarely come in the living room, except for my granddaughter. I always put a sheet over the sofa and ottoman, before purchasing the Carynhurst coffee tables. She's only 6 and can tell where she sits and plays it is starting to wear, even though it's hard as a brick. Maybe in time if will soften. For the price I paid, I really expected it to be nice and "comfortable." It is nice, firm and very heavy, and all the compliments, I'm not that pleased with it. The chair and half, the sitting area is short. I have been sitting in it lately trying to break it in. I'm sorry to say, as far as looks, this set is very nice and sturdy, but not comfortable. It really is best to go into a furniture store and look and sit down on furniture. I didn't even think about comfort before purchasing.I'm giving it 4 stars because of it not being comfortable and where it's already starting to wear, without being sat on much. I have already been rotating the cushions. Hopefully it'll hold up. On my invoice it says I bought 2 years of insurance, but I ordered by phone because problems with my card trying to purchase online. I'm supposed to have the Ashley warranty. I hope they stand up to their word if anything happens.
