I am a huge fan of my beautiful new bed! I was looking for something with a tropical vibe and this banana leaf bed is perfect. It looks so good in person and it is really well made. I have only slept on it twice, but it seams very sturdy and solid. Other things you might want to consider:The bed frame is low to the ground and you need to get a box spring to support your mattress. If you do not want to have the box spring visible you will need to get a very low profile box spring. The bed was not assembled when it was delivered, but instructions were easy to follow. It said it would take 15 minutes, but it took longer than that. I would recommend having a drill ready to attach the support slats to the bed frame since no pilot holes were drilled in the wood.
