Fused Floral Boat Bowl In Rust

Global Views’ Fused Floral Boat Bowl In Rust from the Fused Collection showcases artisan-made glasswork with a warm, rust-toned floral pattern. Portuguese artisans start with clear glass cut into a boat-shaped bowl, then use templates to hand-layer colored sand into detailed floral designs.

A second sheet of clear glass is placed over the design to create a sealed “sandwich,” and the piece is kiln-fired at high temperatures to fuse the layers together. This firing process permanently bonds the pattern within the glass, creating a smooth, glossy surface and rich color depth that looks beautifully dimensional from different angles.

Designed as a decorative accessory, this bowl makes an eye-catching accent on a coffee table, console, or shelf. The low, elongated shape offers a sculptural profile while keeping the focus on the intricate fused floral artwork and rust colorway.
