Okay so I've had my recliner for the past 8 days and I absolutely LOVE it! This chair is sooo comfortable! I knew I wanted a Barcalounger; I actually have a leather one from the 1990s that's still in fantastic condition. I did a little research and even though they are now made in China and Vietnam because of a Chapter 11 filing they still meet the original standards/specifications. This chair is very well made with gorgeous leather, wonderfully padded arm rests and a headrest that's soft but still gives support. The seat cushion provides support but is not hard and doesn't 'deflate" or sink. Also, it has great lumbar support. It swivels and glides easily and has a manual handle that at first was easy to go back but more difficult to push back up. After using about four times it has loosened to smoothly go up and down for reclining. The nail-head trim is straight and adds a finished look to the design. This style chair is more compact size-wise and can blend in with pretty much any style furniture. I am VERY happy with this chair and am so glad I purchased it. ALSO: 1stopbedrooms is a DREAM to work with! There was phone contact three times and each person I spoke with was professional, pleasant and helpful. The carrier they used was also efficient; they very quickly set up my chair and removed the packing. All said and done, this is the best furniture purchase I've made in a long time!
