The chest is crafted with gmelina solid wood and wrapped in Saguran raffia that is hand woven on the island of Bohol in the central Visayas region of the Philippines. Made from fibers of the Tipot palm tree, the raffia adds natural texture and dimensional depth that stands out from typical machine-woven grasscloth.

Three drawers provide organized storage and glide smoothly on self-closing drawer glides for a quiet, secure close. Round ring pulls in a nickel finish and tapered legs with chrome-plated ferrules add a crisp metal accent that pairs well with the woven surface.

A 1/4" lay-on tempered glass top is included to help protect the raffia surface while providing an easy-to-clean top for everyday use. A tip restraint is also included for added stability support.
