The seat cushions slide forward every time you sit up or get up. The biggest reason I hate my new couches is that when you sit down the bottom under the cushions flex which causes an opening between the back cushions... it's like a mouth that opens and anything that has fallen behind the seat cushions will be swallowed up into an area under the couch that is a zippered mesh. To retrieve or to even see if a missing item is in there you have to tilt the couch over and unzip the mesh to look. In the photo's below I am just barely pushing on the bottom and the gap opens a little, imagine how big it opens when sitting.

The sofa is large and solidly made. The color is not caramel, however. It is dark brown. The pillows are very large (26x26). I am using my own pillows in a lighter color to lighten the dark sofa.
