FD Home’s Abington China Cabinet Base in Linville Oak brings traditional style together with practical storage for dining and entertaining. Built from poplar solids with mismatched white oak veneers, this base highlights natural wood character and grain variation for a warm, lived-in look.

The Linville Oak finish is created using a Sherwin Williams finishing system that is hand applied through a 14-step process. It begins with a light durostain to bring out the grain, then a hand-applied glaze is worked into the wood, followed by a soft powder glaze for added depth. Two satin lacquer top coats complete the finish for a smooth, low-sheen look that helps protect the surface.

Behind each door, an adjustable shelf lets you set up storage for serving pieces and everyday dining essentials. Felt-lined drawers include a silverware cover to keep utensils organized and protected. Vintage Tin hardware adds a subtle contrast, with round knobs used on the upper doors and drawers, and tapered round bar pulls on the lower doors.
