    We were so impressed when we saw our sister's new house, we asked if she'd mind sharing her secret of savvy furniture shopping. The answer: well the Marcin collection, of course. On our limited budget, we really appreciated her candor. We started with the Marcin Vase, our first standout piece. Eventually we invested in the entire collection.     Marcin Clear Vase Set of 2

    Here's the secret I share with only my closest thrifter friends. Sprinkle each room with one focal piece that masquerades as a designer piece, but in reality is a great buy. The Marcin Vase is one of such pieces I own that definitely qualifies as a great buy, but fudges the masquerade part, because it truly has a designer look. Only my best buddies know that it didn't cost an arm and a leg, even if it looks like it does.
